They is the agenda and minutes from the Board of Directors meeting on September 16, 1982. At this meeting the Board discussed committee reports in regard to expenditures, per capita grant, RPLS, Library code pertaining to maternity and bereavement leave, circulation statistics, Illinois State Library Association and the new standards for Libraries, CLSI, videos, and non-resident borrowing.  Also included are: 

• statistical report for August 1982
• letter to the Illinois State Library with a Per Capita grant application
• letter to Leslie Allen, City Manager, asking for $15,000 from the Revenue Sharing Funds for improving the audio-visual collections and equipment in the library. 
• letter from Leslie Allen stating that all the funds have been allotted to cover the City's deficit in the next fiscal year
• notice from William Tangney, Macon County Clerk, certifying the tax rate for the Library and the City
