This is the minutes and agenda of the Board of Directors meeting on January 15, 1971. At this meeting, the Board discussed the Friends of the Library pre-opening reception, the library move, the public auction, dedication and the new hours for the Children's Room.  Also included are:

• resolution thanking the Friends of the Library for their assistance during the construction of the new central library
• resolution thanking the staff for their participation in moving the entire stock of DPL from one building to another
