Sgt. Eugene Schwartz of Bethany believes that only an invasion can utterly crush the Nazi empire. The 23-year old flier, who wears both the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Air Medal with three Oak Leaf Clusters, reported Saturday at an army rest camp in Miami, Fla., after a week's furlough at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. Bliss Schwartz. Seven Flying Fortresses were used in the 25 missions, and the slow-spoken, modest Bethany youth served as both radio operator and gunner. Two of his companions are now prisoners of the Nazis, but he is restrained by censorship from giving......."
