Raymond Paul, Article on back of photo: "Hoyt Commissioned; Raymond Paul Hoyt, 32 North Sixteenth street, has completed advanced flying training at Mather Field, Calif., and was recently commissioned a second lieutenant in the army air force. A graduate of Hammond high school, Lieutenant Hoyt was employed by the Frede Chevrolet co., before entering the service in July, 1942. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Hoyt, live in Hammond."
