Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. V. R. Wasson of 1432 West Forest avenue, Yeoman Wasson was the first girl recruited from Decatur by the civilian Wave recruiter here. Former student at Millikin university, she received boot training at Hunter college, new York and was later assigned to the navy pre-flight school in Iowa City, Ia."
