Herald and Review Library: Womeldorff, Col. V. L.; Article on back of photo; "Col V. L. Womeldorff, who for most of the last four years has been in army service in the Aleutian islands and Alaska, is spending a few days visiting in Decatur during a 30-day leave. Prior to being called to duty as a reserve officer, he was employed as an engineer by the Illinois Power Co. He is accompanied on his visit here by his wife and two children, who have been making their home in Webster City, Iowa."
