Herald and Review Library: Photo of Green, Albert D. Article with photo: "This is to advise that Cadet Albert D. Green a member of the class of 43-A, who is now enrolled as an Aviation Cadet in the Air corps Basic Flying School, located at Gardner Field, Taft, California, will be graduated from that school October 27, 1942 and will proceed from there to one of the advanced flying schools for the advanced course. Upon successful completion of this course Cadet Green will receive a commission as a Flight Officer or a 2nd Lt. in the Air Corps Reserve. Cadet Green whose home was at 2521 Clinton Ave., of Berwyn, Illinois. Signed Dave E. Rose, Jr., 1st Lt., Army Air Forces Public Relations Officer."
