Herreid, who was inducted into the marines at the mass ceremony her Oct. 9, 1942, is on furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. T. Herreid, and sisters, 1755 North Edward street. He will report to Cherry Point, N. C. where hie is an aerial gunner instructor. corporal Herreid first went to San Diego, Calif., then to aviation electrical school, Newport R. I., and was graduated from aerial gunnery school, Washington, D. C."
