Herald and Review Library: Wrench, Lt. Howard E., and Cpl. Howard T. Wrench; Article on back of photo; "Lt. Howard E. Wrench and his son, Cpl. Howard T. Wrench, met recently in Assam, India, for the first time in more than a year. Lieutenant Wrench, a former teacher at Centennial junior high school, entered the army in July, 1942 and now serves as personnel and supply officer with an engineering unit on the Ledo road between India and China. Corporal Wrench, a graduate of Decatur high school, entered service in February, 1943 and serves in aviation engineering unit. Corporal Wrench's wife and 16 months old daughter, Nancy Sue, live with his mother on rural route 1, Decatur."
