WWII - Herald and Review Library; Doolen, Dewey, 12/29/1944 unused. Article on back of photo. "His brother Technical Sgt. Dewey Doolen, Jr., returned to the States last October after three years and three months as an aerial engineer and turret gunner with a heavy bomber group. He served overseas in Brazil, Africa, Sicily, Italy, and England. In January he was graduated from the Curtiss Technical Training School at Camp Custissair in Buffalo, N. Y., as a skilled technician. He is now an instructor in aerial engineering at Langley Field, Va. both your men are former employees of the A. E. Staley Mfg. Co."
