Photograph of Mrs. David B. Parr, (Anna Rogers); former writer for the household page of the Decatur Herald newspaper. She was formerly county superintendent of schools in Douglas County, IL. She was a write of economics and prominent in politics. In 1920 she was a candidate for the state legislature from Fayette Co., IL. She had a book on recipes published by the Herald in 1918. Her husband, David B., was the former owner of the City Book Store (Parr & Parr). They moved to Fayette Co. in 1917. Photo by Rembrandts of Decatur, IL.
