Herald and Review Library: Photo of Graver, Carl P. in civilian clothes. Article on back of photo: "Flying Cadet Carl P. Garver, Air Corps, enlisted at Chanute Field, Rantoul, Illinois on November 13th and departed same date for the Air Corps Primary Flying School at Tulsa, Oklahoma. Garver will undergo flying instruction for nine months, at Air Corps flying schools, and , upon graduation, will be commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant, Air Reserve, and be assigned to active duty with a taqctical organization of the Air Corps. Garver was formerly a student at Illinois and Northwestern Universities, and his home is Decatur, IL." photo unused.
