Herald and Review Library: Hass, Lt. Floyd N.; Article on back of photo; First Lt. Floyd N. Hass, 28, whose wife is Peggy Adams Hass of the WACS, was killed in action over Belgium on Jan 22, according to word from the War department received by his wife's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence H. Adams, 760 East Cantrell street. He is the son of rev. and Mrs. Nathaniel Hass of Chadron, Neb. Lieutenant Hass attended Carson State Teachers college and was a senior at Doane college in Crete, Neb., when he enlisted. He was a member of Delta Pi Sigma and Phi Delta. He was a member of the first class of Millikin cadets in March, 1943. then he went to Santa Ana, Calif, and Luke Field in Phoenix, Ariz. He married Peggy Adams on March 19, 1944 in the First Methodist church here (Decatur, IL.)"
