Herald and Review Library: Leffler, George (left) and Russell (right); Article on back of photo; "George, left, and Russell Leffler, sons of Mrs. E. J. Weeks, 825 North Water street, sent furloughs from armed forces in Decatur together recently. George is a corporal in the army at Camp Forrest, Tenn., where he has been stationed since his enlistment in March, 1941. Russell is a carpenter's mate, second class in the navy and is stationed at Alameda, Calif. He enlisted on Aug 26, 1940, and served on the Yorktown, which was damaged in the Midway battle. He also took part in the Coral Sea battle. The brothers attended Decatur schools."
