Herald and Review Library: Wismer, Major Ralph Merrill; Article on back of photo; "Linda Jean Wismer, age 16 months, was an astonished young lady when she first met her father, Maj. Ralph M. Wismer, Friday evening. Major Wismer is back home after two years of overseas duty with the United States marine corps. Mrs. Wismer, the former Jean DeNoon who has made her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. DeNoon, 355 West Green street, met Major Wismer in Chicago and they came to Decatur Friday night."
