Photograph of Enos Kepler (d. 1/18/1928). He was a prominent Mason in Central Illinois, and a charter member of the Stephen Decatur Lodge No. 979. He was commander of the Beaumanoir commandery in 1912, and was a prelate for 17 years. He manufactured cigars with his brother for many years, and had a business on N. Water St. For several years, they traveled for a wholesale tobacco company, and was the house manager of the Decatur Club during the last years of his life. Kepler was a member of the Volunteer Firemen, and a veteran of the Civil War. The photo was used by the Decatur Herald or Daily Review.
