Photograph of home at 215 West Prairie Street. Erected by A. T. Hill and torn down in 1925, taken March 1912. Photograph of home at 230 West Prairie Street. John R. Bradshaw home, known as the Bradshaw apartments. It was sold by H. Vincent Allen , grandson of Bradshaw, to Mrs. M. E. Grove in 1948. The 1954 City Directory listed it as being owned by Mrs. Sadie Barber. Photo by George Baker. Photograph of home at 276 West Prairie Street. It was the home of W. R. Scruggs, one of the founders of Linn and Scruggs. In 1954 Lillian Chadsey, sister-in-law of W. R. Scruggs , still lives there. Photograph of home at 318 West Prairie Street. built by B. C. McReynolds in the late 1800's. It was acquired by Jerome F. Gorin about 1915 and sold to Mary M. Heilman about 1941 according to listings in the city directory.
