Photograph of Lucien Carpenter Shellabarger; born 1/31/1868; died 6/12/1943; married Mable Lord; then married Mrs Iva Faith Camerer; 10/9/1917. Lucien was the son of David Shellabarger, owner and operator of the old Shellabarger Milling Co.; president of the Shellabarger Mill and Elevator Co. of Salina, Kan. Member First Presbyterian Church, Macon Lodge No. 8, AF&AM, and the Decatur Club. Review photo ran 12/4/1930. Obit: "Lucien C. Shellabarger, president of the Shellabarger Mill and Elevator Co. in Salina, Kan., who was a master silver craftsman by hobby, died at 12:30 a.m. today in his home at 109 South Glencoe avenue. A resident of Decatur all his life, he was one of the sons of David S. Shellabarger, founder of the old Shellabarger Milling Co. of Decatur."
