Photograph of Mrs. A.P. Cobb (Marilla M.) (b. 1855, d. 12/18/1944), wife of Rev. A.P. Cobb (Cobb Ave. was named after). She was a school teacher in Decatur for many years, and wrote many papers on the early life in Macon County. Mrs. Cobb was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and the Christian Church. The photo ran in the Decatur Herald and Review on May 12, 1940.
