Photograph of Robert W. Weigand; "(born 2/12/1855; died 4/30/1936). Robert was born in Calhoun County, came to Decatur 56 years ago where he worked as a miller. He never married, he was a member of the Congregational church and the Knights of Pythias. He leaves the folling brothers and sisters: Joe, Jake, Wesley and George Weigand, and Mrs. John Glass, all of Decatur and Wallace Weigand of Waterloo, Ia. A brother, John is dead." Published in the Decatur Daily Review, 5/1/1936; p.25.
