Description
Photograph of building located 200 Block E. Main Street. This building probably is familiar to many but actually it disappeared more than 20 years ago. It is the Orlando Powers building, E. Main and Water Streets, which was burned in April 1914. The Powers building on the same site was burned in Nov. 1895. Each time Linn & Scruggs occupied the lower floors. The above picture was taken about 1908. Photo ran Nov. 23, 1935. In 1955 the building on this site was occupied by Staubers, Inc.
