Description

Photograph of Barkley Selby Brooks (d. 3/3/1954), an Decatur architect and building with the firm Brooks, Bramhall, and Dague. He was the architect on the Decatur High School, the junior high schools, Millikin University, D&MC Hospital, Macon County TB Sanitorium, Westminster Presbyterian church, and many other prominent Decatur buildings. Brooms served as the Superintendent of building in Decatur, and a trustee of Anna B. Millikin Home. He was also a member of the Masons.
