Photograph of Dr. Otis O. Stanley, prominent Decatur Physician. In 1901 he received his degree from the University of Illinois and during the next year worked as assistant in physiology at the university while working on his master's degree. He received his master's degree in 1902 and in 1903 he enrolled in Northwestern University medical school. He graduated from Northwestern in 1906 and returned to Urbana for a part-time job as instructor in physiology and entered the practice of medicine. He remained in the Champaign-Urbana area until 1918 when he entered the army. After the war was over he took an office in Decatur and started his practice. He was still practicing in 1955. Photo was taken Apr 19, 1948. Obit: published 1/9/1964.
